  1. Hi,

The first few fixtures seem to be relatively easy; however, seeing as City are playing Sheffield in the FA Cup 3 days after playing Sunderland in the league, do you think that Pellegrini will rest some key players for the latter game?

Also, It looks as if City’s more difficult fixtures are at the end of January when they play consecutive matches against Arsenal and Chelsea. What do you think of that?

    1. Hi Angus,

Sometimes the easiest fixtures can become the hardest fixtures and the hardest the easiest for City. Yet, I do hope Pellegrini rest some key players for he might be tempted not to given the injured list he already has.

I am looking forward to those difficult matches especially the one against Chelsea. This is their most important match and Pellegrini would and should treat it as such if he wants to win all 3 points.

      1. I completely agree. You never quite know with City. It’s strange how matches that are supposed to be “easy wins” trouble them and matches that are supposed to be difficult don’t trouble them. In regards to the game against Chelsea, at the end of January, I think that it will be an extremely even game. I reckon it might even end in a tie. Having said that, City and Chelsea are both known for their finishing in the latter part of the game. Furthermore, City don’t have Diego Costa, the goal scoring machine, and Cesc Fabregas.

  3. A tie sounds legit. The most anticipating matches can be major stalements. Chelsea is going to go all out to try to get all 3 points and I think City would do. It’s true City don’t have that lethal duo, but I think they’ll make content with what they have.

We just have to wait and see what happens but I hope it’ll be an entertaining match no matter the outcome.
