Debuchy out for three long months

Bad news for Arsenal fans.

Following surgery on a dislocated shoulder that he suffered during a game against Stoke last weekend, Mathieu Debuchy has been ruled out for 3 months.

This is the second time this season that Debuchy has been injured.

His latest injury resulted from an unnecessary push from Marko Arnautovic.

  1. Just breaks my heart. With him in the line up, Arsenal really seemed to hit their stride and he was doing a great job of marshaling some of the youngsters on the defense. Wonderful game today all the same and the injury does seem to have convinced Wenger that he needs to bring in defensive reinforcements sooner rather than later, but still very sad. Debuchy is a perfect fit for the team and he can’t seem to catch a break. Or he catches too many, I guess. 😦 😦
