It was not the Zlatan or Cavani show today, rather, it was the Adrien Rabiot’s show.
The midfielder had a field day when his side hosted Toulouse.
Pastore found Rabiot in the 27th minute and the midfielder struck goal to open the game. Cavani got booked in the 45th minute, but that booking was soon forgotten when Rabiot played creator once again in the 47th minute, drilling a low ball for Rabiot to score his brace. Ben Yedder pulled one back in the 51st minute and Cavani had a chance to score in the 58th minute, but his shooting boots let him down. Toulouse could have equalized, but the game was finished when Silva converted a Jean-Christophe Bahebeck’s free kick.
Although Rabiot blew everyone away with his performance and was the Man of the Match, kudos to Pastore for having an incredible game.
With this 3-1 victory in the bag, PSG has the honor of being on top of the Ligue 1 until Lyon plays tomorrow.
