Arsenal makes a mockery of Liverpool

Olivier Giroud Olivier Giroud of Arsenal celebrates after scoring his team's fourth goal during the Barclays Premier League match between Arsenal and Liverpool at Emirates Stadium on April 4, 2015 in London, England.

Arsenal left Raheem Sterling in the shade after a ruthless display against Liverpool at the Emirates.

Arsenal scored three stunning well-deserved goals before half time leaving Liverpool in the dust. Bellerin of all people opened the game with a wicked curler after getting the ball from Ramsey in the 37th minute.  In the 40th minute, Ozil scored from a direct free kick and just before half time, Ramsey played provider again for Sanchez who smashed home the 3rd.

Sterling won a penalty in the 76th minute off Bellerin which Henderson converted to make the scoreline 3-1. Emre Can saw his second yellow after a silly challenge and was dismissed in the 84th minute leaving Liverpool to finish the game with 10 men.

I told my sister the game was over, but she said that it wasn’t over until Giroud scored. True enough, Giroud scored in the last minute of the game courtesy a Sanchez assist. It was Giroud’s 10th goal in his 10th game.

Arsenal is in fine form and today, they were clinically wicked.
