> 20 minutes left in this one and still 1-0. Come on, let’s secure those 3 points fellahs!

63′ FK La Real *closes eyes* … Bravo saves.

60′ Bartra off. Busquets on. Vamos team!

60′ La Real FK. Nothing comes from it in the end as the ref blows for offside 1-0

57′ Chance for La Real, but Bravo is quick to claim. 1-0

STAT ATTACK!: Messi, Suarez and Neymar have now scored 27 of Barcelona’s 30 goals in all competitions

50′ NEYMAR WITH LE HEADER! Great cross by whom else? Leo! And sweet finish by Neymar. Still not out of the fire as yet though. 1-0

^ I cannot even begin to relax! I need a goal and I need it now!

47′ Neymar drills it wide 0-0

46′ Corner FCB. Rulli again with the stop for another set piece

La Real gets the 2nd half underway. I don’t care if we win by 1-0 with Masche on the score sheet, just get in there! VAMOS BARCELONA!

The first half was pretty frustrating when La Real started to pack their bus, but I hope we can come back out with a vengeance in the last half. We cannot afford to lose this game, guys. We just can’t!

45′ Half time: FCB 0 La Real 0

44′ Alves drills it wide! 0-0

43′ The linesman takes a tumble. Leo asks if he’s alright. He simply gives Leo the thumbs up. He’s all right! 🙂

39′ FK FCB. Xavi directs the ball into the box, Rafinha connects onto it, but could only hit a La Real defender. 0-0

35′ La Real corner. Bravo clears

33′ SUA-NOOO!!! Messi does well. He does really, really well to keep possession of the ball and cross it into the box. He finds Suarez, who decides to look for Neymar instead of going for goal. He should have gone for goal there. If Leo could have only passed to himself the hat-trick of misses might just have been a hat-trick for the Genius. 0-0

31′ FK FCB … nothing comes from it in the end 0-0

29′ Bergara booked after a rough foul on Rafinha

28′ PIQ-NO! Pique shoots, but he misses the target, the ball returns to him, but his attempted bicycle kick doesn’t sizzle. Delightful ball from Leo though and Pique should have done better. 0-0

26′ Alberto De la Bella booked for challenge on Leo

25′ Granero booked

25′ Neymar called offside. COME ON TEAM! 0-0

19′ Leo for Neymar, but the ball evades the Brazilian. Lovely piece of vision from the Genius 0-0

STAT UPDATE: FCB 71% La Real 29%

12′ NEY-NO! Ney has a great chance to score, but the effort is saved by the goalie. Still 0-0 in the Camp Nou.

12′ Lovely piece of control from Alves!

^ Both teams have settled into a rhythm and they’re giving each other a hard time so far. They have their mindset on.

7′ A header from Leo is saved by Rulli for a corner-kick which eventually comes to nothing 0-0

4′ Corner La Real. Pardo swings in the corner, but Prieto could only head wide. 0-0

Simply love, love, Ney’s simple message before every game and how he puts the game in God’s Hands.

“May God bless and protect us.” Neymar (IG)

FC Barcelona: Bravo – Alves Pique Bartra Adriano – Rafinha Mascherano Xavi – Messi Suarez Neymar

Real Sociedad: Rulli, C.Martínez, Mikl, Bergara, I.Martínez, Granero, Xabi Prieto, Vela, Pardo, Canales, and Bella.

Today’s game is one of utmost importance that Barcelona CANNOT afford to lose. Unlike last time when Sociedad beat us 1-0 away – thanks to an own goal by Alba – this time it’s going to be different. At least I hope so. I expect us to go out there, give our very best and win. Nothing less would be accepted.

My heart simply beats football.
