Kelechi Iheanacho made his second senior appearance on Saturday for Manchester City against Crystal Palace and what an introduction he made when subbed on!
Kevin De Bruyne was subbed on for Sergio Aguero in the 25th minute making his debut for City, but it was Iheanacho who stole the headlines when he was subbed on in the 89th minute for Bony. It took him a minute to find the back of the net to give City the lead when Nasri unleashed a low strike that McCarthy parried away into the path of Iheanacho, who tucked it away for the 1-0 victory.
With this victory in the bag for City, it means the Manchester side has won all of their five openings thus far and they’re sitting on top of the table, 5 points clear of Manchester United, 11 points clear of Chelsea.
