Tottenham v Crystal Palace 1-0: Son and Lloris to the rescue!

“You can see Son is happy at Spurs and his influence on the game – he can help the take team forward.”

Hugo Lloris

Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace - Premier League

Spurs got everything right in the first half of this match and was eventually rewarded in the 68th minute.

Son made his PL debut for Spurs over the weekend and he did not let me down. He has integrated well into the team and I can see Spurs depending on him more as the season progresses. Cabaye was denied a scrumptious potential opener by the woodwork in the 65th minute. Lloris then made a match-winning save before Son found the back of the net for the winner in the 68th minute.

Lloris was my Man of the Match simply because his saves came up big for the team. He has now gone 278 minutes without conceding in the PL and Son has scored 3 goals in 3 appearances for Spurs (2 in the Europa last week). I won’t worry about Kane. He’ll find his shooting boots soon.
