Man of the Weekend: the lethal Olivier Giroud

Swansea City v Arsenal - Premier League

Yasss! Giroud had a FANTASTIC weekend and even the haters are keeping quiet for the while being. Maybe I should change this category to my original intent, ‘Frenchman of the Weekend’.

Arsenal beat Swansea on the road 3-0 over the weekend, but Giroud ran away with the headlines. Football’s Sexiest scored the opener which was the 2000th goal of Arsène Wenger’s reign. History made right there. The stats also show that Giroud is the deadliest striker in the PL. The striker has the best minutes-per-goal ratio of any striker in the PL and we all know he’s an aerial threat. Giroud has now scored more headed goals (15) than any other PL player.
