Thiago Silva sounds off on career retirement and Paris

In 2012, Thiago Silva arrived at Paris Saint-Germain from AC Milan and hasn’t looked back since making Paris his second home after his place of birth, Brazil and now he hopes to retire at PSG.

“I want to finish my career here. I need to speak with the president (Nasser Al Khelaifi) to see if he agrees or not.”

Proclaiming his love for the City of Romance, the PSG captain said,

“Paris has become my second city after Rio de Janeiro. I really like this city. I live here with my family, my son is growing up here. He has the right conditions for him to grow well in Europe – the city of Paris is great for kids.”

I hope he gets his wish.

My heart simply beats football.
