For every save that Hugo Lloris make, he makes it look easier to have 14 UNBEATEN games under his belt.
Over the weekend, Spurs played away to West Brom, but they eventually settled for a 1-1 draw, something I just cannot accept at the moment when they’re playing really well.
I’ve always known what a fantastic goalkeeper Lloris was during his days in the Ligue 1 and when he came to England, I knew he was going to get a lot of stick from fans and critics alike, but he adopted well and blew everyone out of the water. Today, he is getting the respect he deserves in England and they’re finally seeing what I saw in him all those years ago beyond his gifted cat-like reflexes: only the best darn goalie in the world.
This might just be the season of Lloris, but the team has to work harder to score more goals and to finish in the top 3/4. The coach has expressed his delight in the French skipper remarking,
“I can say he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. We are lucky he is at Tottenham with us. We want to build the next squad and the future with him. He is very happy with us.”
Yes, the future is bright for Spurs, but it’ll even be brighter if they can bring work even harder to show off their accomplishments with the fans at the end of the season.
ALLEZ LLORIS! ALLEZ SPURS!
