Euro 2016 countdown: 10 days to go: Giroud ignores the nasty critics

Football’s Sexiest can’t hear the criticism.

Olivier Giroud spoke to Téléfoot about the criticism he has received for his performance this season.

“Those things do not make you happy. In terms of what I can say about the minority of journalists and so-called specialists, I am concentrating solely on my statistics this season.”

Former French player, Thierry Henry was also critical of Giroud’s performance. While it’s true he may not have performed to the best of his ability, he was almost forgiven when he won Arsenal a second place finish in the BPL by scoring a juicy hat trick.

Let’s do the business this Euro. Allez Giroud!
