Masterclass performance from Spurs as they beat City 2-0

Tottenham just put in a masterclass performance against Manchester City running away with a 2-0 victory at the White Hart Lane. Despite Kolarov scoring an own goal to put Spurs ahead in the 9th minute, it was all Spurs. City did improve in the 2nd half, but Spurs wouldn’t let them pass. Lloris was a tough wall to break while Bravo sometimes fumbled on the other end.

Dele Alli scored the winner in the 37th minute and Erik Lamela had his penalty save by Bravo in the 65th minute. It was a well-deserved performance from the boys in white at the lane and I am delighted for them.

City bits: Nasri completes Sevilla loan, Mangala jets off to Valencia and Hart heads to Torino

Pep Guardiola is cleaning house and he isn’t afraid to do so.

Samir Nasri has joined Sevilla on a season-long loan. I think this is a good benefit for the Spanish side.

Samir Nasri puts pen to paper on a season-long loan deal alongside Sevilla chief Monchi

Valencia has confirmed a season-loan deal with Eliaquim Mangala.

Meanwhile, Torino has completed a season-long loan deal to Serie A side, Torino. This should be a lesson to the Englishman to try and prove himself worthy once again. Hart has made 346 appearances for City over 10 seasons.

All the best boys!

Aguero and his historical five-goal haul

Manchester City v Newcastle United - Premier League

Sergio Aguero was the Man of the Weekend! The Argentine scored 5 big ones when Manchester City faced Newcastle and those five big ones scored him a record: fastest five-goal haul in the PL history! I am super dupa proud of him!

Aguero clocked in his manita in the 42nd, 49th, 51st, 60th and 62nd minutes respectively.

Watch his 5 goals here (MUTE if you don’t want to listen to the annoying music):

Wasteful City falls as Arsenal falls for Chelsea’s bag of tricks

Manchester City v West Ham 1-2

Manchester City v West Ham United - Premier League

Man City was extremely wasteful over the weekend as West Ham put a stop to their winning habits. Payet assisted the early opener by Moses and by the 31st minute they had a 2-0 lead through Sakho. Aguero eventually set up De Bruyne, but there were no more goals to come from City.

This was the first time City was beaten this season, but I take nothing away from a determined West Ham.

Chelsea v Arsenal 2-0

Chelsea v Arsenal - Premier League

This game was a disaster as Chelsea picked up just their second win of the season as Arsenal fall prey to Costa’s dirty tricks which saw two of Wenger’s men sent off.

Zouma headed in the lead in the 53rd minute through a Fabregas free kick and Hazard added a second thanks to a deflected strike. Gabriel and Cazorla were sent off in this match leaving Arsenal to struggle with 9 men.
